What can we do?
Everyone has a role to play in changing consumer habits and moving towards a circular economy.
Once your electronic device reaches its end-of-life, recycling is the next step in the product’s lifecycle. Reusing these valuable resources in the manufacture of new products closes the loop.
Be part of the solution:
- Take a look around your house/office for old, unused electronics.
- Wipe data, say goodbye, perform any farewell ceremonies.
- Find out what we take here.
- Find your nearest E-waste collection site
- Drop off your unwanted e-waste for free.
About International E-Waste Day
International E-Waste Day was developed by the WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) Forum, an international association of e-waste collection schemes comprised of 36 members from 29 countries, including Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform (ANZRP). International E-Waste Day aims to raise the public profile of responsible e-waste recycling and encourage consumers to get old electronics out of their drawers and into reputable drop-off locations.
